It’s very simple.  All you need to do is:

1. Join Coventry LETS
2. Look in the LETS Trading directory to find out whether anyone is offering the goods or services that you would like (home-made bread, jam and chutneys, organic produce, cleaning, gardening, bicycle repairs, etc). 
3. Contact the member and agree a price. This can be in Covs or a combination of Covs and £s.
4. When you are satisfied with your purchase, give the seller a Covs cheque (and £s cash if applicable).
5. The seller then sends the cheque to the treasurer so that it can be recorded in the group accounts. These accounts are available on-line to be viewed by all LETS members. 
6. Of course, this process also works the other way around – members can also contact you to purchase your goods and skills using Covs in payment for them.
